This is the hyena for the same project, I used maya fur for the ...uhm, well fur. Had one hell of a time doing fur for the first time. The background still all black & stuff, I'll add some shots after I put them in the environment. Comment please.

Pretty nice model and texturing, yes. I'd say experiment some more with the fur lengths, these creatures don't have the same fur length all over their body. The fur should also be a bit more shaggy.
